    • Prior to Profhilo the intake of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) must be avoided. 48-72 hours before the treatment. Anti-inflammatory drugs include ibuprofen (Nurofen), mefanamic acid (Ponstan), diclofenac (Difene) and others
    • We always recommend to patients who would bruise easily or are unsure if they bruise easily to take a high strength freshly prepared arnica supplement for a few days before treatment

  • In general, to reduce bruising in this area it is advised to apply pressure to the injection site for 3-5 minutes afterwards.

Following a course of PRP injections results will typically last up to 1 year after the first treatment session in most clients. Touch-up treatments may be needed to maintain the desired effect depending on the extent of ageing and skin concerns.

If you decide not to have treatment at any point, that is also no problem.  There may be other different treatments that you may be more comfortable with if appropriate for the issues or needs you have.
