However in saying that, fat dissolving treatments are only suitable for those who have commenced on a balanced diet with a healthy BMI, and are not really suitable for those looking for a weight loss solution. What is Celluform?
Celluform consists of Lipolytic treatments that fight localised fat, cellulite, slow and weakened microcirculation.
This treatment reduces circumference, tightens the skin and improves skin tone. It has been proven to be extremely effective on cellulite, water retention and localised fat.

How is the treatment conducted?
We do a little pinch test to ensure the area is suitable and we mark this area.
We apply a topical anaesthetic and let Dr. Natalia work her magic.
How many treatments will I need?
Body:
4-6 times every 2-4 weeks.
Face:
2-3 times every 6 weeks.
What are the key ingredients and what do they do?
Phosphatidylcholine
Breaks down fat cells and reduces localised body fat deposits. It helps the body eliminate fat and convert it into energy in a natural way.
Deoxycholic Acid
Active in the process of fat emulsion in the body and facilitates the absorption of fat in the intestine.
Nicotinamide
Lowers cholesterol levels and works as a vasodilator (may cause redness and warmth) increasing vascularity and, stimulating the microcirculation system.
Carnitine
Increases fat metabolism and energy production in the cells.
Arnica Chamissionis Extract
Inhibits inflammation in the tissues and reduces cellulite.
You are not suitable for Celluform if:
- You are pregnant or breast feeding.
- You have diabetes.
- You have allergies against one or more ingredients.
- You have a medical history of anaphylactic reactions.
- You have sever organic diseases.
- You have acute or chronic skin diseases in the treatment areas.
- Do not apply cosmetics to the area within 12 hours of treatment.
- Avoid the use of ice packs or heat.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours.
- Massage the treated area 2-3 times a day.
- Maintain a healthy diet, otherwise your body will simply store fat in alternative fat depot.

The procedure uses a solution of deoxycholic acid to safely and effectively eliminate small, stubborn pockets of fat which can be resistant to diet and regular exercise. Your results can be long-lasting, so you can say goodbye to the annoying dangly bits.
But in saying that, Aqualyx treatment is only suitable for those that have a balanced diet with a healthy BMI, and is not really suitable for those looking for a weight loss solution.

What are the benefits of Aqualyx?

You can usually be guaranteed a complete recovery within about 5 days.
Aqualyx treatments cannot be carried out if any of these contraindications apply to you.
- AQUALYX is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- It is also not recommended for those people who have been diagnosed with lipodystrophy or any pathological conditions.
- It should only be used in people aged 18 – 60 years.
- Also as it is a sugar based preparation hence it is not recommended for diabetics.
- Patients with autoimmune conditions such as scleroderma should avoid treatment.
- Patients with severe liver disease should not be treated with Aqualyx, as the extra fat it has to process could overwork the liver.
- Any patient with a history of an allergic reaction to an ingredient of Aqualyx should avoid treatment.
- Patients on blood thinning medication, in particular, warfarin, will almost certainly not be suitable for treatment due to the risk of severe bruising.
- Patients with severe kidney disease are not suitable for treatment.
- Excessive obese patients are also not suitable for the treatment.
- No strenuous activity/exercise for next 4-5 days.
- Avoid any other fat-reducing treatments for 4 weeks.
- Don’t touch the treatment area, or apply makeup or body creams to the treatment area for 6 hours after your treatment.
- Don’t drink alcohol for 48 hours after treatment.
- Please avoid all direct sources of heat (sun exposure, sauna etc) or extreme cold to the treatment area for 48 hours after treatment.
- Do not take anti-inflammatory medication (ibuprofen etc) for 7 days after your treatment. It can be counter-productive towards the treatment as the natural inflammatory response aids the dissolving of the fat cells.
- Try to avoid any blood-thinning medication.
- Expect moderate swelling, hard swelling, redness, itching, numbness and bruising after your treatment. Symptoms can last for 4-6 weeks.
