How the Treatment Works

  1. Consultation: Dr. Natalia will assess your skin goals, review your health history, and decide on the best plan – whether standalone PRP, Cellular Matrix, or combination with microneedling / other treatments.

  2. Preparation: The doctor will take a small blood sample, spin it in a centrifuge, and isolate the PRP.

  3. Application: After cleansing and numbing, we inject or microneedle the PRP + HA mix into carefully selected areas to stimulate renewal.

  4. Recovery: Minimal downtime, although you may experience redness or slight swelling for a day or two, and light bruising is possible

Pre & Post Treatment Advice

    • Prior to PRP Cellular Matrix the intake of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) must be avoided. 48-72 hours before the treatment. Anti-inflammatory drugs include ibuprofen (Nurofen), mefanamic acid (Ponstan), diclofenac (Difene) and others
    • We always recommend to patients who would bruise easily or are unsure if they bruise easily to take a high strength freshly prepared arnica supplement for a few days before treatment

  • Straight after PRP Cellular Matrix, slight redness, swelling and bruising is possible but usually subsides after a few days.
  • You may have slight bruising on your arm where your blood is drawn.
  • In general, to reduce bruising in this area it is advised to apply pressure to the injection site for 3-5 minutes afterwards.
  • We always recommend to patients who would bruise easily or are unsure if they bruise easily to take a high-strength freshly prepared arnica supplement for a few days before treatment and to keep taking it for 3-5 days post-treatment. You can buy this high-strength (200c) arnica in health shops and homoeopathy stores.
  • Arnica cream is also very effective to bring down any bruising and swelling post-treatment.
  • As with any facial treatment it is advised to stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible and to avoid using any harsh toners or cleansers on the treated area.
  • It is best to avoid strenuous exercise post-treatment as it may cause bruising.
