What to Expect From Your Treatment

Step 1: Consultation 

Your journey begins with a private consultation with Dr. Natalia Bratu. This consultation must take place before booking treatments separately.  She will discuss your concerns, medical history and goals, and determine whether PRP for erectile dysfunction, alone or combined with exosomes, is the best approach for you. 

Step 2: Preparation 

Once a separate Treatment appointment has been and confirmed your treatment will commence as follows:  A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort, while a small blood sample is taken from your arm. The blood is processed in a sterile centrifuge to isolate PRP, and the penis is gently cleansed and prepared. 

Step 3: Procedure

During the treatment, PRP is gently injected into specific areas of the penis to stimulate vascular and nerve regeneration. Because PRP comes from your own body, it’s biocompatible, safe and well tolerated. The injections are quick and well tolerated due to numbing, and the entire procedure typically takes 20–30 minutes.

Pre & Post Treatment Advice

For 48 hours before treatment, please avoid alcohol and NSAIDs (ibuprofen, Difene, Ponstan). If you bruise easily, consider taking a high-strength arnica supplement for 2–3 days beforehand. 

Do not proceed with the treatment if you have: 

  • Active infections  
  • Open wounds  
  • Visible skin irritation  
  • Untreated herpes simplex (antiviral prophylaxis may be recommended)  

Postponing the treatment is not an issue. 

For the first 24–48 hours, avoid sexual intercourse, strenuous exercise, hot tubs, saunas and swimming. Your daily care routine should consist of keeping the area clean and dry and avoiding fragranced products or harsh cleansers. You should also wear loose clothing if the area is sensitive. If mild swelling or warmth occurs, don’t worry. This is normal and settles quickly.
