What is the Definisse Peel?

It is a multi-layered, professional chemical peel system that combines salicylic acid, pyruvic acid, retinoic acid, and other potent active ingredients for deeper skin renewal. This peel is designed to gently exfoliate dead skin, stimulate collagen production, reduce pigmentation, and improve overall skin tone and texture.

There are 2 variants:

Classic Peel (for fine lines, sun damage, acne marks) and Lightening Peel (for pigmentation issues such as melasma, sun spots, hormonal dark patches).

Active Ingredients:

  • Salicylic Acid: Exfoliates dead skin cells, leaving a smoother surface.
  • Pyruvic Acid: Controls oil, stimulates collagen, and brightens the skin.
  • Retinoic Acid: Promotes cell turnover to reduce fine lines and improve skin regeneration.

These ingredients work synergistically at lower concentrations, ensuring safety and effectiveness with minimal irritation.

What to Expect: Treatment Process

  1. Consultation & Skin Assessment
    Dr. Natalia will start by examining your skin, discussing your concerns (pigmentation, lines, texture, etc.), and selecting the appropriate peel variant (Classic or Lightening).

  2. Preparation
    Pre-treatment care to balance skin pH, possibly light skin prep creams or routines to ensure best results and reduce risk.

  3. Treatment Day
    The peel is applied in our clinic by Dr. Natalia. You may feel a warming or tingling sensation. Timing is fine-tuned based on skin tolerance and variant chosen.

  4. Aftercare & Recovery

    • Mild peeling, redness or flakiness may occur for a few days.

    • Use gentle cleansers, moisturiser, and strict sunscreen (min SPF 30, ideally SPF 50) daily.

    • Avoid harsh products, exfoliants, direct sun exposure for at least 1 week post-treatment.

  5. Recommended Course
    For optimal results, we recommend 2-4 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart (depending on skin’s condition and variant). Maintenance sessions once or twice a year help prolong radiance.
