Lanluma is an award winning, innovative filler designed to reshape, volumise and enhance the curves and contours of the body. It also activates collagen production, creating long lasting results of two years and over. Lanluma treatments involve the injection of Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a substance that has been used in medicine for over 30 years for everything from dissolvable stitches to treating scarring.

Lanluma treatments are typically performed in under an hour, with minimal downtime and results emerge gradually post treatment as the body lays down new collagen.

How does Lanluma work?

Lanluma is a minimally invasive treatment that triggers a deep tissue regeneration reaction.  It stimulates collagen, adding volume, improving skin texture and re-contouring your bum for a more shapely silhouette.

Lanluma improves skin tightness and texture, enhances curves in flat or saggy buttocks, can help to reduce cellulite and dimples, improves the shape and volume of the bum and corrects natural and post-surgical concerns such as atrophy and lipoatrophy.

Tell me about Results

It takes between two to three treatment sessions, with results appearing gradually over two to three months. Results will last for two years and over.

What are the benefits?

Adds Volume:

Lanluma injections add volume in a natural way by stimulating the production of the body’s own collagen. This process results in the growth of fibrous tissue which in turn visibly increases the volume of the area.

Improves Cellulite:

Cellulite is a common and benign skin condition that is linked to several factors including genetics, age, and hormonal changes. It is caused by the accumulation of excess fat cells that push up against the skin, while the connective cords tether the skin down. This results in an uneven skin texture, with the appearance of lumpy and dimpled skin that predominantly occurs around the hips, thighs, and buttocks.

Lanluma injections can improve the appearance of cellulite as the production of collagen will add volume to the indented areas of the skin in order to create a more even appearance.

Improves Skin Texture:

Lanluma stimulates collage production, and can improve the texture of the skin for a more youthful and even appearance. Therefore, it can treat a multitude of skin concerns that occur with age including wrinkles, deep lines, and hollow areas in the face.

What parts of the body is Lanluma best for?

  • Face – Revitalize the skin and reduce wrinkles in the chin, jawline, cheeks, temples.
  • Upper Arms – Corrects Skin Laxity, not sagging muscle.
  • Hands – Reduce wrinkles and veiny appearance on hands.
  • Buttocks – Increase plumpness and reduce the look of a sagging bottom.
  • Thighs – Achieve smoother and fuller skin with a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
  • Hips – Smooth cellulite and reduce the appearance of hip dips.

Is the procedure painful?

Lanluma is performed under local anaesthetic which makes it virtually painless. You may feel some tugging and pulling. Dr. Natalia is highly skilled in this area and will carefully inject Lanluma where you would like to create volume – and that’s it.

You’ll feel fine right after the procedure, though there may be a little redness and swelling for a few hours.

How is Lanluma different to surgical procedures?

  • Surgical procedures can be very costly over time.
  • Recovery can take several weeks.
  • In some cases, patients will need a garment to reduce oedema or antibiotics to reduce the risk of infection.
  • Some patients may have significant bruising that lasts 3 weeks or longer.

Are there side-effects?

There is minimal downtime with this treatment. Patients can resume normal activity same-day. You may experience some redness and swelling in the area.

You’ll need to keep up a careful aftercare routine of regular massage for best results – 10 minutes, two times a day for two weeks after your last session. You will also need to avoid swimming, sauna and vigorous exercise for a week after treatment, and sunbathing (UV) for 10 days.

The longevity of results may be affected by:

  • Excessive sun exposure and smoking (cause premature breakdown of the new collagen)
