What are Dermal Fillers?

Simply put, dermal Fillers restore a your youthful appearance. Life is so busy and tiring and sometimes it leaves us looking worse for wear. We need a pick me up sometimes, and where make up can’t do the job, dermal fillers can.

Dermal fillers are very different from anti-wrinkle treatments. They are most frequently used to ‘fill’ facial lines, wrinkles, and folds (known as static wrinkles) or add volume deep into the skin to enhance facial contours (e.g cheeks) and features such as the lips.

Essentially, restoring a youthful appearance.

What areas can be treated with Dermal Fillers?

Fillers last longer than Anti-Wrinkle Injections . The type of filler chosen for you, or chosen by you, will determine how long it may last.

We’re confident enough to tell you that you can expect results that can last anything from 6 to 12 months. Just like your dental hygienist, your medical checkups, we strongly advise that you arrange a 6 monthly check-up.

Don’t worry if you forget, we send reminders, 6 months after treatment or consultation.

Surprising Uses for Dermal Fillers

Did you know that fillers can be used to reduce the appearance of scarring? Fillers can recontour the area that is scarred and this can result in smoother skin.

Rejuvenation of the hands is an increasingly popular trend. Our hands are on show just as much as our faces, and the last thing we want or need is for our hands to look older than we are. There are certain fillers that can restore volume, reduce the appearance of veins, and overall, make your hands look more youthful.

Sagging can occur on the ear lobes, and when collagen production reduces over time the skin looks less plump and can’t support simple accessories like earrings.

In this case, fillers can restore plumpness in the ear lobes and lift slack lobes.
